Canuck inspector tops in contest

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Richard Roberts has earned bragging rights among his peers, after walking away with top honours at the North American Inspectors Championship in New Orleans from Aug. 14 to 20.

Roberts, a CVSA-certified North American Standard Level I inspector from Langley, B.C., bested 53 competitors winning the Grand Champion Award for his combined performances in six competition elements.

At the 14th annual championship, Roberts represented Canada along with five other inspectors from Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick.
