CarriersEdge Announces Upgrades

MARKHAM, Ont. –CarriersEdge has announced the release of a new vehicle inspection online training course as well as its upgraded online driver improvement system.

The company has partnered with Techni-Com, a provider of commercial vehicle safety and compliance materials, to produce the online Practical Vehicle Inspection training course. The course is designed to accompany the Practical Vehicle Inspection handbook. The online course uses real-world scenarios and exercises to convey National Safety Code regulations, the companies announced.

Separate programs are available for tractor-trailers and straight trucks, allowing fleets to customize the content to suit their needs.

CarriersEdge subscribers will automatically receive the course as part of their subscription service, the company has announced.

Meanwhile, CarriersEdge has also launched an enhanced version of its driver improvement systems, CarriersEdge 2.5. The new system features updated content and more than 50 new customer-requested enhancements. For information, visit www.driverquality.com.
