Century S/T sheds weight
DALLAS, Tex. – Designed specifically for the weight-sensitive needs of dry and liquid bulk haulers, Freightliner has shed approximately 1,200 lb. in the design of its new lightweight Century Class S/T. The new model takes advantage of the safety and technology features of the standard Class 8 design in addition to some additional lightweight components. Weightsaving items include Michelin X-One wide-base tires on Accuride aluminum disc wheels. n
