CAMBRIDGE, Ont. – Challenger Motor Freight is celebrating one trucker’s 25 years with the company in a big way. The company purchased a custom-built Dura-Plate van trailer for trucker Don Gole to haul. The trailer, manufactured by Wabash, was equipped with the following: 22 gauge stainless steel nose and radius panels; Neway Air-ride; Peterbilt aluminum rims to match Gole’s tractor; 18 top and bottom LED side marker lights.

The company also had the trailer panels pre-painted Galaxie Blue to match Gole’s Peterbilt tractor. And a customized neon silver logo thanking Gole for his 25 years of service decorates the trailer’s sides.

“Don has accumulated approximately three million miles of accident-free driving with us,” said a press release from the company, which is headed by Dan Einwechter. “This is truly a magnificent feat in this day and age, and a testament to Don’s commitment and professionalism. We wish him many more. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Don for his 25 years of dedicated service to Challenger and hope he has many more years.”

As for Dole, he says he’s pleased with the way the new trailer was painted up and decorated and hopes to be able put in at least as many more years on the road.

“I guess that’ll depend on how it gets loaded up,” he added. “They treat me well at Challenger,” Gole said of his 25-year career with the company. n
