Child Find needs help from trucking community

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Child Find Ontario is looking for fleets from coast-to-coast to help the agency track down missing children.

Participating carriers are asked to display a 19″x27″ self-adhesive vinyl poster on each of their trailers.

The signs are durable and can withstand truck washes.

Child Find says it’s an effective way to locate missing children, as the trucks are seen in so many locations across Canada.

Child Find is running the program on a cost-recovery basis, and asks carriers to pay $10 per poster to cover the cost of production, administration and delivery of the posters.

The agency says it’s extremely grateful to those carriers already participating in the program, but its goal is to increase the number of posters on trailers by more than 200 per cent by the end of the summer.

Companies interested in participating can contact Jan Barr at Child Find Ontario by calling 905-712-3463.
