TORONTO, Ont. – Canadian National announced in late September that it plans to extend its RoadRailer intermodal service in the Toronto-Chicago corridor.

The railway will acquire 200 of the specially-equipped 53-foot trailers, doubling the size of the fleet used by the service that was launched last August.

Starting next month, the service will offer shippers next-morning delivery five days a week in the Toronto-Chicago corridor, and second-morning delivery between Montreal and Chicago. n
