DIEPPE, N.B. – The trucking community is invited to attend the Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association’s (APTA) Truck Technology Conference.
The event, to be held at the Sheraton Halifax from Apr. 7-9 will host a wide array of speakers and interesting presentations.
Topics such as discussion on what the industry may face beginning in October in regards to engine emissions will be presented by Alasdair McNellan, Canadian general manager Cummins Engine Company.
Tony McKee, of International Truck and Engine Corporation, will touch on tracking and controlling costs with parts and maintenance.
Also part of the weekend’s presentations is a discussion on ABS brake systems and auto slacks, as well as bus tours to the Pratt and Whitney Aircraft Engine Plant, Keith’s Breweries Ltd. and the Atlantic CAT Facilities.
The conference is being organized by the Associate Trades Council and will host a gamut of networking opportunities including a Casino evening and several luncheons with special entertainment.
