CrimsonLogic (North America) Inc., an international IT solutions provider, has received accreditation from the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to provide Web-based connectivity into the U.S. Automate Commercial Environment system (ACE).

The company says it is the first in Canada to receive such accreditation.

CrimsonLogic TradePalette, the company’s flagship logistics solution, has met CBP’s stringent requirements to comply with different testing scenarios to enable carriers to submit all message types (BRASS, PAPS, Section 321 etc.) to the U.S. government agency through this Web service.

ACE allows carriers for the first time to submit pre-arrival information directly to CBP instead of relying on third parties to relay this information.

CrimsonLogic provides connectivity options that will allow highway carriers to submit data directly from a Web-based account or from their own in-house systems giving added efficiencies in submitting data to comply with this new and upcoming regulation.
