Dana appoints new global director for trailer products

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Dana Corporation’s Commercial Vehicle Systems group announced the appointment of Mike Schwanzl to global director of business development – trailer products.

Dana continues to expand its market offerings, which range from simple trailer axles and auxiliary axles for trucks to complete trailer modules including axles, suspensions, slider assemblies, and brakes. Schwanzl will be responsible for the continued growth of Dana’s commercial vehicle trailer products and systems business in North America, as well as fostering business development in Europe, South America, and Asia Pacific.

In his new assignment, Schwanzl will report to Frank Sheehan, vice president of sales, marketing, and product planning. During Schwanzl’s 26-year career with Dana, he has progressed through numerous positions with increasing levels of responsibility. Schwanzl’s most recent position was plant manager of Dana’s operation in Smyrna, Tenn.
