LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Savannah, Ga.-based trailer manufacturer, Great Dane, has rolled out its latest commercial offering to build off the successful P-Series line: The P-101.
Rob Fortney, director of national accounts, says the new design has passed the most rigorous of testing procedures. “Our computer simulator can inflict 10 years of wear and tear in less than 10 days,” he explains. The result is that the P-101 is a high-cube freight van that’s built to last.
Featuring a 101-inch interior width and a proven sheet-and-post construction, the new trailer boasts an additional 80 cubic feet of cargo space beyond what its predecessor offered. A plastic lining runs the full height of the trailer and is secured to the logistics posts without fasteners thanks to a proprietary Great Dane design. The lining’s white color also serves to brighten the trailer’s interior. n
