HALIFAX, N.S. – Easson Transport has teamed up with New Castle Hotels and Resorts, a local hotel management company, to give motorists on the East Coast a glimpse of some of Nova Scotia’s finest resort getaways.

One of Easson’s trailers is now sporting photos of both Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa, and Keltic Lodge Resort and Spa, and will be travelling around Eastern Canada and the US over the next two years promoting the resorts.

“As the tourist season kicks into full swing, Nova Scotia Signature Resorts are poised for a great season,” said Guido Kerpel, regional vice-president, New Castle Hotels and Resorts.

“This new and exciting initiative puts us front and centre in the faces of potential visitors in key geographic markets.”

Dave Miller, manager, personnel and safety with Eassons Transport, says he is excited about teaming up with Nova Scotia Signature Resorts.

“This is a great opportunity for us to partner with two first class resorts to promote their products in key destinations – in a cutting edge manner,” Miller said. “Everyone wins when we have more visitors coming to Nova Scotia.”

The trailer’s usual hauler, Lorne Haley, says he has enjoyed a number of waves and thumbs up from passing motorists in both Canada and the US since he’s has been in action.

“There must be a lot of people that feel a connection to Nova Scotia,” Miller says.

New Castle Hotels and Resorts manages 20 resorts and hotels in the US and Canada and consistently ranks in the country’s top 100 hotel management and development companies in hospitality industry trade publications.
