Eassons Transport Prolongs Relationship With Cancom Tracking

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Cancom Tracking announced recently that Eassons Transport Limited has signed a five-year contract extending their business relationship with to 17 years.

Nova Scotia based Eassons Transport began its relationship with Cancom in 1992 by purchasing 30 OmniTRACS units, and in the past 12 years that number has more then quadrupled.

They expanded their service offering too.

Eassons Transport introduced Internet tracing, allowing customers to track their shipments on the Internet, and receiving up-to-date satellite position histories.

Along with this service an automatic e-mail delivery notification service was launched to further enhance service.

Customers receive a confirmation e-mail the second a driver updates his shipment status via satellite.
