OTTAWA, Ont. – Eaton has announced it will begin offering a remanufactured version of the Fuller FRLO Series 10-speed heavy-duty transmission to the Canadian market.

The new offering complements the existing line of Fuller Reman remanufactured transmissions. It features genuine Fuller components and is now available for the first time at Canadian OEM dealers, the company has announced.

“In addition to the new model availability, price reductions on Fuller 18-speed manual remanufactured models have also been implemented throughout Canada,” added Dyanne Richards, Roadranger parts manager for Canada.

The remanufactured transmissions are certified to Eaton specifications and come with a minimum one-year unlimited mileage warranty for parts and labour, the company says. The transmissions are assembled and tested at Eaton’s Reman Center in Ottawa.

Other remanufactured transmission offerings from Eaton include: Five 6-speed models – the FS-5306A, FS-6306A, FS-6406A, FSO-8406A, and FS-5406A; Two 10-speed models – the FRLO-16410C and FRLOF-16410C; and two 18-speed series – the RTLO-16718B/18718B and RTLO-16918B/18918B/20918B.

Meanwhile, Eaton has increased its warranty coverage in Canada on 13- and 18-speed Performance Model transmissions from 12 to 18 months.

“These models are especially popular in Canada, where only Eaton can offer remanufactured transmissions with the same OEM-quality components that are used with new transmissions,” said Richards. “All Fuller Reman transmissions incorporate the latest engineering upgrades, including long-life synchronizers, enhanced seals and shift bar housings. When customers purchase a Fuller Reman, they often receive features that are better than when the transmission was new. That translates into more time on the road.”
