KIRKLAND, Wash. – Edmonton Kenworth was named 2006 Kenworth Customer Support Dealer of the Year for the US and Canada at the Kenworth Customer Support Meeting.

“It’s a great honour to be selected as Kenworth Customer Support Dealer of the Year,” said Gary King, president of Edmonton Kenworth.

Edmonton Kenworth serves Edmonton and northern Alberta by operating first-class facilities and providing truck sales, parts, service, paint, body shop and full-service leasing to the oilfield, logging and on-highway markets.

The dealer operates three full-service locations, including two in Edmonton and one in Lloydminster, Alta., which recently held its grand opening to celebrate its new, 22-bay, 43,000 sq.-ft. facility.

“Edmonton Kenworth continues to achieve very high levels of customer support,” said Bob Christensen, Kenworth general manager and PACCAR vice-president. “An outstanding dedication and passion for the business and serving customers is evident throughout their organization.”

A number of other Kenworth dealers were honoured with regional, gold and silver awards, at the Kenworth Customer Support Meeting, which was attended by more than 300 Kenworth parts, service and body shop managers and top dealer management.
