SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Federal-Mogul will exclusively market Dialight Corporation’s DiodeLite’s LED line for heavy-duty vehicles.

“The alliance with Dialight enhances our position as an OEM systems supplier in the heavy-truck and trailer segment,” said Bill Buchman, Federal-Mogul’s vice-president of sales, marketing and engineering. “This agreement leverages the strengths of both organizations in the rapidly expanding, technology-driven LED market. It also provides us with a full product offering at the OEM level.”

“By extending the terms of our original agreement to the OEM segment, we hope to more aggressively promote adoption of LED lighting in the North American heavy-duty vehicle industry,” said Gary R. Durgin, Dialight’s vice-president of marketing. “At the same time, it gives fleet customers a seamless solution to their lighting needs, from OEM specification through aftermarket replacement.”

Federal-Mogul and Dialight have maintained an aftermarket joint distribution agreement since 1996, allowing Federal-Mogul to sell, market, and distribute replacement Dialight LED products.

Federal-Mogul also produces the molded components for Dialight’s manufacturing and assembly operations, such as lenses, lamp housings and mounting grommets.
