FERGUS, Ont. – The Fergus Truck Show was recently named one of the top 50 festivals in Ontario.

The Top 50 Ontario Festivals was announced by Michel Gauthier, president of the Events and Festivals of Ontario Association, at a conference held between Feb. 27 and Mar. 2 in Toronto.

There are over 3,000 annual festivals and community events staged each year in Ontario, says the association, ranging from one-day street fairs to internationally renowned, multi-year celebrations.

“It’s an absolute thrill for the Fergus Truck show to be named to the top 50. It’s an honor for North America’s largest Truck Show to receive this recognition,” says Sherry Clarke, show administrator.

The 18th annual show will be held July 25-27 at the Fergus and District Community Centre.
