RED DEER, Alta. – Fort Garry Industries has announced the opening of its newest store at the former Heavy Duty Repairs location in Red Deer, Alta.

The new store joins a growing team of fourteen locations, who, along with the two nearest Fort Garry partners in Calgary and Edmonton, now provide complete door-to-door coverage throughout every region of Alberta.

The new location will eventually re-locate to the Edgar Industrial Park, but, for the time being, it continues to operate out of the existing location at 103-6660 Taylor Drive in Red Deer. The move to the new location is planned for the late spring of 2001.

Currently, the branch offers heavy-duty parts and service for all makes of trucks and trailers. The new facility will accommodate a large warehouse showroom and multiple service bays in keeping with Fort Garry’s other locations across Canada.

Dale Chick, the manager of Heavy Duty Repairs, was appointed as the new branch manager. Dale brings with him over 25 years of knowledge and experience in the heavy-duty service industry. n
