PORTLAND, Ore. – Freightliner Trucks recently announced major enhancements to its Security Connection support program for owner/operators.

Along with protection against accident-related downtime and round-the-clock customer assistance, Security Connection members now receive a comprehensive package of services and discounts, including fuel discounts at TravelCentres of America locations.

Security Connection membership is available at no charge to O/Os running one to five trucks and who have purchased qualifying new Freightliner trucks financed through either Mercedes-Benz Credit Corporation or The Associates.

Freightliner has also teamed with T-Chek Systems, Inc. to offer Security Connection members a host of business services, including payroll, licensing, tax, billing and invoicing services at a discounted rate.

Through T-Chek, members can obtain cash and distribute funds while on the road and monitor account status via the Internet or by phone.

Members also have access to T-Chek’s Fuel Tax, Regulatory Compliance and Quick Pay Plus services.

Other additions to the Security Connection program include a membership card that can function as a fuel card, payroll card, credit or debit card and/or a phone card; a free on-line load matching service through CHRWtrucks.com; and a payment protection plan that covers a member’s truck payment if the truck is out of service for 30 or more consecutive days due to accident-related repairs. n
