Fuel Prices Fraudulent

Dear Editor,

(Regarding “CCMA commends Competition Bureau’s move to examine gas price hikes” posted on www.trucknews.com.)

I can’t help but agree the immediate price hikes at the pump are fraudulent. In our industry, the market prices of steel and aluminum went up between November and February, trailer manufacturers then announced price increases to take affect this summer/fall. In the gas industry, the market price by the barrel goes up one day, and next day the price rises at the pump? Price grab? Yup! n
