Galloway Motors Celebrates 20 Years
BRADFORD, Ont. – Galloway Motors Ltd. Truck and Tire Centre celebrated its 20th anniversary with a customer and supplier Appreciation Day August 22.
The company was first registered in May 1983. “We started out with three of us,” notes John Galloway. Since then, Galloway Motors Ltd. has expanded. The company moved to its current location in the Artesian Industrial Parkway about 13 years ago and now employs 14 people.
Although the company is “really tight here now” and space is at a premium, Galloway has no plans to move. He says the centre is just too well known in its current location among local truckers and farm equipment operators looking for tires, parts and repairs.
The Appreciation Day was an opportunity to show off the company’s products, provided by suppliers that included Hancook Tires, Cummins, Detroit Diesel and Freightliner, advertise the company’s services and “let our employees know how they are appreciated,” said Galloway.
“It’s been a great day.”
