ST. CATHARINES, Ont. – Repairs to the concrete bridge deck on the Garden City Skyway are now underway. From Mar. 19, through until June 30, the Skyway will be reduced from six lanes to four. According to the Ministry of Transportation (MTO), the work is part of a $17.8-million, three-year project that started last year.

To mitigate possible traffic delays, the MTO is implementing high-tech solutions, including electronic changeable message signs; queue end warning signs; and video monitoring of the work zone. n
