Dear editor,

I saw Truck West for the first time when I picked up your last issue about truckers and the attitude people have towards them.

We have been a trucking family for years and it sure is sad to see them come home feeling like dirt because some jackass didn’t know any better.

People don’t seem to realize they are an essential service because the world would come to a halt if they all quit. Some of the people manning the scales act like commandos instead of people. Especially in some areas where they are not as busy as the mainstream stops across Canada. The rates stink and yet they want the trucker to absorb every cost that comes along.
