Barbara Palmer, marketing coordinator with Chevron Lubricants (left), presents Ellen Campbell of the Canadian Centre for Abuse Awareness with a cheque for $8,500. This was the money the Truck News/Chevron Annual Golf Event raised for the charity this past summer. The Canadian Centre for Abuse Awareness is dedicated to eliminating child abuse through advocacy, education, public awareness and prevention programs, and to providing accessible support, healing and individual empowerment for children and adult survivors, their families and caregivers.
