Great piece of writing, Teddy

Dear editor,

In the June 2002 issue of Truck News, Ted Light wrote an interesting column detailing the Edmonton ceremony honoring the lives of the four Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry soldiers who were lost to friendly fire.

In regards to Sgt. Marc Leger of Lancaster, Ont., it was indeed quite a ceremony in his home town.

I live in Bainsville, which is practically right next door to Lancaster, and the tribute to the Canadian hero was astounding.

I particularly liked your sentence, ‘we are all passengers on this ark called Earth,’ – great stuff!

I was part of NATO forces for seven years and I’m now back on Civvy Street, but I maintain an interest in all things related to the Canadian military.

I have also worked for Goodyear and B.F. Goodrich in the past and I pick up your magazine each month at the Curry Hill truck stop.

The June issue published a great article on tires, as well.

Mr. Light, your comment and your magazine are most welcome each month, keep up the good work.
