Hendrickson merges Anchorlok and Midland chambers

At the start of the year Haldex introduced a new line of double diaphragm spring brakes and service chambers, replacing all existing Midland and Anchorlok actuator products.

The new product offering is the culmination of the integration of Anchorlok, purchased by Haldex in 2002, and the Midland brand of actuators.

Haldex has reduced the product offering to three levels of products. The top product, Life Seal, is closed to atmospheric contamination and has a six-year warranty. Gold Seal actuators offer the broadest coverage and are supported by a four-year warranty.

Haldex has enhanced both the Life Seal and Gold Seal products with new robust non-pressure housings to increase the mounting strength.

Value-priced Midland chambers are also available. These chambers use a combination of components from both the Anchorlok and Midland chambers and carry a three-year warranty.

The Anchorlok Service chambers with aluminum pressure cap will be phased out in favor of the Midland all-steel design.
