WETASKIWIN, Alta. – Home Hardware has announced the qualification of its Wetaskiwin trucking fleet with CSA International’s Carrier Safety Management System Standard (CSMS), completing certification of Home Hardware’s entire fleet across Canada.

Home Hardware’s St. Jacobs, Ont. and Debert, N.S. fleets were certified during the previous 18 months.

Home Hardware officials said qualification with the CSMS program will help them demonstrate to customers, enforcement agencies and the public that the company is continuously meeting safety obligations, in a way that provides a consistently high level of service to its more than 1,000 independent dealers across Canada.

The CSMS standard provides organizations that transport goods on public roadways with a framework to help minimize the risk of accidents and safety incidents.
