HoS should be repealed for all

Dear Editor:

I was just reading your article ‘B.C. log haulers fight for exemption to federal HoS.’

Correct me if I’m wrong: driver logbooks were put in place for safety reasons. How is it safer for a logging truck driver to work longer hours than a highway driver? I’m glad that someone is fighting these outrageous changes, but if there are rules they should be the same for all drivers.
