International, CAW ink deal

CHATHAM, Ont. – International Truck and Engine has reached a deal with striking Canadian Auto Workers union members at its Chatham plant.

Workers ratified the deal, which ended a six-week strike that saw a union supporter injured after the company attempted to bus replacement workers into its plant. The company announced the two-year deal with other details of the settlement withheld.
