LOUISVILLE, Ky. – International unveiled its new American Eagle 9900ix at the Mid-America Trucking Show – a truck that honours the “Spirit of America” and the nation’s truck drivers.

“Giving our customers the best driving experience on the road goes beyond the innovation, technology and performance we integrate into our trucks,” said Jordan Feiger, vice-president and general manager, Heavy Vehicle Center, International. “A key ingredient also is the excitement and pride we deliver in design and style. The power, performance and pride that this truck offers will generate curbside and market appeal that will excite drivers.”

The truck has been designed with O/Os in mind, but will also be marketed towards fleets wanting to reward top drivers with a special new tractor, the company says. The limited edition truck features a graphic design of an American eagle along the cab as well as a unique hood ornament depicting a silver eagle soaring over the International logo.
