TORONTO, Ont. – John Ford of John A. Ford Trucking in Brigden, Ont. has joined Shell Canada’s Million Miler “Haul of Fame,” a program which rewards commercial drivers for using the company’s Rotella T heavy-duty engine oil.

Ford becomes only the 17th truck driver to get Shell Canada’s blessing on reaching 1,630,310 km – or about 1 million miles – with his 1986 Kenworth T600 and its 350-hp Cummins engine. Shell Canada used an auditing system to verify his use of Rotella T products, including guaranteeing that engine parts weren’t switched. n
