Kinedyne simplifies standard winch bar

Truck drivers have a new tool to take on the road – the Ratcheting Winch Bar. Available exclusively through Kinedyne Canada Limited, the patent pending product provides drivers with a versatile tool designed to tighten securement winches and winch straps.

The Ratcheting mechanism enables drivers to operate the bar in the safest and most effective range of motion, the company says. It explains that the precise action of the Ratcheting Winch Bar eliminates drivers’ tendencies to use hazardous “cheats” such as placing a secondary pipe over the winch bar for additional leverage (a.k.a Snipe or Cheater bar). Also, with its positive lock feature, the bar becomes an extension of the winch, thus reducing dangerous and costly accidents.

The Ratcheting Winch Bar takes approximately half the time to operate compared to a conventional winch bar, it is claimed.

It is estimated that there are close to three million different kinds of trailer winches on the road today but Kinedyne says its Ratcheting Winch Bar turns all winches into ratcheting winches. The Ratcheting Winch Bar fits most standard winches and all Kinedyne Winches.

The Ratcheting Winch bar comes in two styles the Standard (37032) for Winches only, and Combination (10030) for Winches and Chain Binders.
