TORONTO, Ont. – The Ontario Trucking Association (OTA) and Canadian Trucking Alliance (CTA) have both named Stephen Laskowski, a four-year OTA staffer, to new policy positions.

At the OTA, Laskowski will take on the newly created role of manager of policy development. He’ll be responsible for such activities as research and analysis that lead to the development of association policies.

The association staffer will also serve in a similar role with the CTA, where he has been providing support for the last three years. There, he will use the title of director of policy development and will report to Graham Cooper, senior vice-president of the alliance, in Ottawa.

“Steve brings an energetic and focused approach to his new position,” says OTA president and CTA chief executive officer David Bradley. “He has clearly demonstrated his ability to assess complex issues and to analyze their impacts on the trucking industry and potential solutions.” n
