TORONTO, Ont. – TransCore has announced a strategic marketing agreement with Truck News and Truck West to offer Driverlink as trucknews.com’s online recruitment centre.

The service will allow drivers to post resumes, search for employment and receive leads from carriers announcing job opportunities. The service’s online unveiling on trucknews.com will coincide with the release of this issue.

The job hub will be advertised in the print versions of Truck News and Truck West each month as an online tool for trucking-related recruitment.

Drivers will be encouraged to complete information forms to be added to the online database and carrier advertisers will be urged to use Driverlink to fill positions. Memberships for drivers and owner/operators searching for work are free of charge.

Carriers typically pay a monthly subscription fee to post unlimited openings and search for and receive leads on available drivers who match their needs.

The fee will be waived for carriers who advertise in Truck News or Truck West during that particular month.

Driverlink currently serves more than 500 trucking companies and more than 5,000 drivers.
