WINDSOR, Ont. – For the third year in a row, Mack Trucks has named 401 Mack Canadian Dealer of the Year and Most Improved Canadian Dealer of the Year.

The success, says dealer principal Frank Kemski, is teamwork. “Myself and the other shareholders – Erwin Pare, Mike Billette, Susan Cassidy and Willy Janca – focus on keeping our more than 50 employees motivated and happy. In turn, our staff will look after the customers and the customers will ultimately take care of the business,” he said.

The company site on the Hwy. 401 corridor almost tripled its 64-unit target in 1999, delivering 155 Class 8 tractors. That gives the group a 30.8 per cent share of the area’s market, Kemski said.

“They are constantly putting more of themselves into the business and reinvesting in the future,” said Mack Canada senior district manager Lynne Vanstone, who is responsible for Ontario and Atlantic Canada. “They really have tremendous vision.” n
