Mats: T2000 adds to options

Kenworth Truck Company is looking to boost driver comfort with a dinette and sofabed option package for its T2000 75-inch Aerodyne model. Kenworth’s new T2000 driver comfort package starts with a dinette table made from materials comparable to high-end kitchen counters, according to the truck maker. The fold-down dinette seats four people. A dual intensity, overhead light fixture below the upper bunk provides lighting for the table, which is 26 inches wide by 34 inches in length. Next comes the sofabed. It consists of two opposing couches that convert into a 42-inch wide by 80-inch long bed for comfortable sleeping. The sofabed configuration has a sleeper berth restraint for a person sleeping or lounging in the bed during operation. n
