WINNIPEG, Man. – Maxim Transportation has announced plans to purchase from McCoy Bros. the selected assets of Northland Trucks (1978) Ltd. and M.E. Investments Corp. – known collectively as Northlands.

Under the deal that’s expected to close on Nov. 30, Maxim will buy Northland Trucks’ facilities in Prince Albert, Sask., as well as parts inventories, shop equipment and office equipment.

Maxim plans to continue to operate the business as an International truck dealership, but under the name Maxim International Trucks. n
