Maybe It’s Time To Revisit Photo Radar

Every time I pick up the Truck News, I read letters regarding the pros an cons of speed limiters.

Time will tell if this will improve highway safety or not. Maybe it would be better if photo radar was brought back?

Have it set for 110 km/h with zero tolerance, and double the fines. Would we slow down? Probably not.

But I’m sure it would generate enough revenue for the province to eventually eliminate the PST. •
