TORONTO, Ont. – Just a few weeks after the historic signing of its first three dealers in Canada, MFTA Canada is rolling out its 2001 models, which include an automatic version of the company’s four-wheel-drive FG.

Volvo dealers in Toronto, Montreal and Winnipeg will be carrying the Mitsubishi Fuso product line with a staff dedicated solely to looking after that product. Four more Volvo dealers are expected to come on board by year’s end, according to Robert McDowell of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America. Eventually all Volvo dealers that are not selling competing medium-duty truck lines will be selling Mitsubishi-Fuso trucks. n
