LAVAL, Que. – Michelin has added the XZA3 and the XDA Energy to its line of truck tires, with fuel efficiency and increased removal mileage in mind.

The XZA3 is a long-haul steer tire designed to give fleets a significant increase in runout mileage.

The tire has low rolling resistance with a 20 per cent improvement in tire service life than its predecessor, Michelin says.

It’s available in six sizes and is the most advanced Michelin long-haul steer tire.

The XDA Energy is a fuel-efficient drive tire and is available in one size – low profile 22.5 LRG.

It delivers about 2.5 per cent better fuel economy than the XDA2.
