LAVAL, Que. – Michelin North America announced two three-year agreements with Mack Trucks and Volvo Trucks North America.

This is in support of the companies’ tire engineering and original equipment production needs in North America. Michelin will provide technical and marketing expertise to Mack and Volvo.

As a result of the continuing relationship with Mack, Michelin fleet customers will be able to spec’ the Michelin line-haul products they value on every Mack line-haul truck.

Customers will now also be able to take advantage of an enhanced vocational tire offering.

“Michelin continues as an important and valued supplier to Volvo Trucks North America,” said John Rice, COO, Michelin Americas Truck Tires.

“As a result, Volvo customers will be able to specify the Michelin line-haul products for the Volvo VN line of highway tractors.

“Customers will also be able to take advantage of an enhanced vocational tire offering for the Volvo VHD truck and tractor.”
