National Trucking Week – Sept. 22-29

TORONTO, Ont. – Trucking industry members all over the country celebrated National Trucking Week with a variety of special events designed to recognize the vital role that truck drivers and industry members play in our every day lives.

The annual event spotlights the important contributions made by the 400,000 Canadians who keep the freight and the economy moving, as well, it creates an awareness of driver safety and promotes positive driving habits.

Many companies and industry suppliers marked the week with events such as, barbecues, free truck washes, presentations for driver appreciation awards, free seminars, discounted truck stop meals or luncheons.
