BRANTFORD, Ont. – The first service centre on Hwy. 403 in the Brantford, Ont., region now has its pumps switched on and is open for business.

Bikram Dhillon and his partner, Major Dhillon, say they’ve done their homework and the Garden St./Hwy. 403 site is the only facility for miles available to the 40,000 vehicles that pass the site everyday – 20 per cent of which are commercial vehicles.

“We’ve got full-service diesel with plenty of truck parking and we’re open 24 hours a day,” says Bikram Dhillon. “We’re also giving away free showers with every fill up to the truckers.”

The Garden/Hwy. 403 Service Centre, which will fly the Esso flag, will also feature a convenience store, a spacious drivers’ lounge, laundry facilities, a Tim Horton’s, a Wendy’s and a Pizza Pizza. n
