OSHAWA, Ont. – Transportation Resource Management is now the

most recent truck driver training institution to be granted full accreditation by the Canadian Trucking Human Resources Council (CTHRC).

“The council is pleased to welcome Transportation Resource Management to the select group of like-minded companies who are supporting the adoption of national standards and a standardized professional driver training program,” says Linda Gauthier, the director of programs for the entire CTHRC.

Rick Gowland, the school’s director of operations, says his company first discovered the CTHRC’s Earning Your Wheels driver training regimen after the Oshawa, Ont.-based school’s parent fleet launched an internship program that welcomed newly licensed drivers.

“Although an in-house program was in place,” says Gowland, “(We) wanted to further enhance (our) training to a level of professionalism that not only met but exceeded the requirements.” n
