Partnership to enhance security

CHICAGO, Ill. – ALK Technologies and Qualcomm have teamed up to offer fleets the latest weapon against terrorism.

The Qualcomm OmniTracs mobile communications system has been integrated with ALK’s routing, mileage and mapping technology to provide expanded security against the increasing threat of terrorism or cargo theft.

“Qualcomm is excited about the integration between our OmniTracs mobile communications system and ALK’s Fleetcommander product,” says Marc Sands, vice-president and division counsel, Qualcomm Wireless Business Solutions. “ALK continues to be an excellent long-term partner and this integration helps expand the capabilities of our system to meet expanded security concerns for our customers.”
