Trailer manufacturer Arne’s Welding has announced Gerald (Butch) Bouchard has been named president. Bouchard replaces Bob Munro, who recently retired. Bouchard spent 25 years at Midland Manufacturing. In 2001, he was promoted to the position of general manager at Midland and handled the day-today operations of the company.

Bison Transport’s Aprim Shemoun, a Vaughan, Ont.-based owner/operator, has reached 16 consecutive accident-free driving years with the carrier. He will be formally recognized at Bison’s annual awards banquet on Nov. 27 in Toronto.
