Kinedyne Canada has appointed national account manager Robert Spooner to the newly created position of national sales manager of cargo control sales, effective immediately.

Spooner joined Kinedyne Canada in 1995. In addition to directing and coordinating the activities of all national accounts, his new responsibilities include increasing Kinedyne’s brand and sales, developing new business, and managing national trade shows and the Kinedyne sales team.

“Robert has earned the respect of his team and myself over the past 12 years,” said Larry Harrison, president of Kinedyne Canada. “We are honoured to have him assume his new role as national sales manager and continue to develop new business opportunities across the country.”

Grote Industries’ president and chief operating officer, Eric Morris, recently celebrated his 30-year anniversary with the company.

Morris joined Grote Canada in 1978 as general manager and was eventually named president. As president, Morris led the company’s growth as a supplier of truck lighting and safety equipment in the Canadian marketplace, officials said.

“This is just the beginning,” Morris said. “I have enjoyed my career with Grote and I am excited to continue bringing Grote’s innovations to the global marketplace.”
