Richard Drapeau has been appointed Ancra International’s Eastern Canadian regional sales manager for its cargo systems division products. Ancra International is a worldwide designer, manufacturer and distributor of cargo restraint and material handling systems utilized in the transportation industry. Drapeau brings with him 20 years of sales and service experience in the automotive and heavy-duty transportation industry at the aftermarket, OEM, and national accounts level. Covering Quebec and the Maritime provinces, Drapeau will work closely with the Grant Brothers Sales Agency, as he manages the sales of Ancra International’s cargo systems division products through aftermarket distribution and OEM channels in this territory. Thorncrest Sherway is pleased to announce the appointment of Ray Marshall, as commercial general sales manager for Thorncrest Ford, Sherway Ford Trucks and Sterling Trucks of Toronto. Thorncrest Ford has been in the Ford commercial truck business since 1971 when it was located on the corner of Dundas Street and Islington Avenue in Toronto. It amalgamated with Sherway Ford Trucks in 1985 to form Thorncrest Sherway Inc., and relocated to its current location, 1575 The Queensway in Toronto. Thorncrest Sherway Inc. then started Sterling Trucks of Toronto in 1997 to bring brand recognition to the Sterling Truck business. In his position as Thorncrest Sherway’s commercial general sales manager, Marshall will be responsible for commercial truck sales for Thorncrest Ford, Sherway Ford Trucks and Sterling Trucks of Toronto. He brings with him 41 years in the trucking industry, 24 with the Cummins distributor in Toronto and 17 years in commercial trucks with Tower Ford Truck Sales, Ontario Sterling and Harper Ontario Truck Centres as their general sales manager.
