Thomas’ 20 years of industry experience make him a valuable insurance and risk management resource for Hallmark’s fleet owner and owner/operator clients, the company said. As a member of the Hallmark Business Protection Plan team, Thomas will market clients to all the major trucking insurance companies in order to ensure they receive the right insurance at the right price, officials said. Caterpillar has announced George Taylor will now lead the company’s on-highway engines business. As director of Caterpillar Power Systems North America, Taylor will be responsible for all aspects of the on-highway engine business including linehaul, over-the-road and vocational trucks as well as buses and RVs. He will also lead field service operations and parts marketing for all the Power Systems business sectors, the company reports. Taylor replaces Jim McReynolds, who moves on to lead the Caterpillar Global Paving division.
