Allison Transmission has announced the appointment of Nick Finamore as account manager for Central Ontario. Finamore was with Harper Detroit Diesel Allison prior to the recent employment change. He will be working with Allison on-highway clients and will be calling on fleets and dealers to ensure customer expectations are met.

The board of directors of Schneider National has elected Christopher Lofgren, 43, as president and chief executive officer. Lofgren succeeds Don Schneider, 66, and becomes the third leader of the transportation and logistics company founded in 1935.

The parent company of Espar Heater Systems says Dr. Volker Hohensee will be the new president of the North American subsidiary. Worldwide, the corporation provides independent fuel-fired heating systems for a variety of applications in a very diverse marketplace. Dr. Hohensee’s German background, along with his Doctorate in Engineering and senior-level management experience with the North American OEM market, make him a valuable addition. n
