OAKVILLE, Ont. – The Private Motor Truck Council of Canada (PMTC) has begun its search for nominees in the 15th annual Vehicle Graphics Design Awards, and on-line nominations are being accepted for the first time.

The competition, co-sponsored by 3M Canada’s Commercial Graphics Division, is open for entries until Aug. 31.

“The competition promotes one of the positive sides of the trucking industry,” says council president Bruce Richards.

Entries come from all across Canada.

Entry forms are available through the PMTC office, or by visiting www.pmtc.ca, or www.3M.com/ca/imagegraphics.

Five categories in the competition include: tractor-trailer; nighttime safety; straight truck; special event/promotion; and van/pick-up. When entering the tractor-trailer category, competitors must submit a photo of both vehicles. Competitors entering the nighttime competition must include a night-time photo.
